- Best Africa Investment Bank - Standard Bank, South Africa
- Best Africa Research Team - Standard Bank, South Africa
The Africa investor Index Series Awards are the only international, pan-African awards that recognise and reward Africa's institutional investors, stock exchanges, best performing listed companies, stockbrokers and capital market regulators. These awards were held at the New York Stock Exchange on 21 September 2009.
African Banker Awards 2009
- Investment Bank of the Year - Standard Bank, South Africa
The committee for these awards is composed of the editorial team of African Business and African Banker magazine and it benefits from the expertise of leading organisations and industry figures with an in-depth knowledge of the African business landscape. The awards ceremony took place 6 October in Istanbul.
Banker Investment Banking Awards 2009
- Best Investment Bank from Africa - Standard Bank
The Banker's Investment Banking Awards focus on innovation in products, structures or strategies. This award was received on 8 October in London.
