What statements can I have emailed to me?

  • Daily, weekly and monthly provisional statements on current, savings and loan accounts
  • Daily, weekly and monthly balances on current, savings and loan accounts
  • The service is free

In what format can I receive my emailed statement?
You have the choice of either HTML or CSV. HTML statements can be viewed using an Internet browser. CSV format can be saved and viewed with business or accounting software, such as Excel.

How do I download the CSV format statement?
Double-click on the "CSV" link on your statement and it will open in Excel.

What do I need to do if I forget my username or password for emailing of statements and balances?
Log on to Internet banking click on Statements and then select Email statements. Your username and password will be displayed.

What do I do if my statement won't open?
Check if you are using the correct card number and password. If the problem persists, you will have to download the decoder again by going to the Internet banking log on page and clicking on Download decoder.

What is a decoder?
A decoder is software which allows you to decrypt your statement.

What do I do if I am not receiving my statements?
You must
log on to Internet banking, go to Statements and then select Email statements to check if your email address is correct. If your details are correct, you need to call our Customer Contact Centre on 0860 123 000 or email ibsupport@standardbank.co.za.

How do I update my email address to receive my statements?
You must
log on to Internet banking, click on Statements and then Email statements. To update your details, click on Submit and your next statement will be sent to your new address.
